Tennis registration is for grades 1-8 and is open until 2/22/2022.
This is a great opportunity for players of any level to learn or enhance their skills. Professionals from Louisville Racquet Club will be assisting at all practices.
Tryouts to be able to play matches will be held on 2/25 from 4-5pm. Your child has to hit the ball over the net and serve from the baseline to play in matches. All other players that will not be playing matches will be practicing only. Practices will be held on Fridays from 5 to 6pm at Louisville Indoor Racquet Club. First Practice is February 25th.
Practice with Match Play is $90 per player. Practices only is $80.

Boys volleyball is a fun, relaxed and educational league!!! SMM has enjoyed great success through the years in this sport and we encourage all boys in 3rd through 8th grade to be a part of the fun! No experience is necessary!!
The season starts after basketball and ends before soccer and baseball!!!
Registration is now open for grades 3rd -8th. Please note for planning purposes: tryouts will be the week of Feb 21st (each grade level will tryout 1 day; tentatively 3rd/4th Monday, 5th/6th Tuesday, 7th/8th Wednesday); league play begins March 1st and Tournament ends March 30th. Runners on your mark! Set! Go! SMM Track and Field is open to all boys and girls in grades 6th - 8th. Track and Field is not only for those that like to run, but also for those that enjoy field events like long jump, high jump, and even shot putt and discus.
Registration: January - March.
For 6th - 8th
Practices: Start in March and are usually held on Sundays afternoons at Waggener High School. The CSAA city finals meet is usually the last weekend in April. There are additional meets, both CSAA and non CSAA, that runners can choose to participate in as well. Track meets are usually held on weekends starting in March thru May including the State Meet that is held at the end of the season at the University of Louisville’s track facility for those that qualify.
Practices: Start in March and are usually held on Sundays afternoons at Waggener High School. The Fun Run is usually the second weekend in May at St John Paul Academy (St Pius Campus). There are additional meets, both CSAA and non CSAA, that runners can choose to participate in as well. Track meets are usually held on weekends starting in March thru May.

The 2022 Louisville Scholastic Lacrosse League will have three leagues 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8.
Registration is open through 1/31. The cost will be $85 per player.
We are in contact with the administration for the league, any grade level that does not have enough players to field a team will be merged with other teams to ensure the boys have an opportunity to play.

Despite the cold weather, softball season is just around the corner! Mustang softball is a wonderful way for our girls to sharpen their skills and have some competitive fun with their classmates. All girls in 3rd through 8th grade are encouraged to play, and all experience levels are welcome! Tryouts could be necessary depending on the number of girls that we have register, which could certainly influence the number of teams. The cost to register is $75 and the deadline is February 28th. **For our 7th and 8th parents, if your daughter is interested in playing, please let me know ASAP. Historically, we have been able to collaborate with other schools to make the numbers work. But, due to Covid, CSAA is prohibiting this. We will do our best to make things work.
Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Spring Soccer
Registration is open until 2/15. This spring we will be playing in a league with St. Albert the Great, Holy Trinity and possibly St. Mary's Academy. Games will be played on Sundays at either SMM or SATG, and it is slated to start on Sunday, March 20th.
For planning purposes, we will not be playing games on Spring Break, Easter, Derby or Mother's Day weekends. The season will conclude on May 22nd. Cost is $75 per player.

3-8th Grade Soccer
CSAA soccer is a great way for our Mustangs to further their soccer skills while competing with their classmates! The season starts in mid to late March and concludes at the end of May, near the time school wraps up. Registration is open for girls and boys in 3rd through 8th grade. For 3/4th grade, a girls only & Co-ed team may be possible if enough students are signed up to play. If not, the teams will be all co-ed. Traditionally, the 5th-6th/7th-8th level is all co-ed. Tryouts for all age levels are a possibility depending on registration numbers. All registered kids will be placed on a team. We encourage everyone from beginners to experienced club players!
The deadline to register is February 21st and the cost is $75, after which no entries will be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.

SPRING POWDERPUFF FOOTBALL FOR 7th AND 8th GRADE GIRLS
We will be hosting a Spring Powderpuff league at St. Margaret Mary for students currently in the 7th and 8th grades. We plan to have separate St. Margaret Mary 7th and 8th grade teams that will play in the same league if we have enough signups at each grade level. Games will be played beginning in mid to late April and will be played on Sunday and Monday evenings at St. Margaret Mary. A tournament will be played at the conclusion of the regular season. The league will run for 8-10 weeks. Practices will begin as soon as signups are closed and are determined at the coach's discretion.
Cost to play is $75.
Signups will only be open until March 26th so that teams can begin practicing.
